Starting in 2026, TEMPO will be awarding a prize for the best paper presented by a graduate student at the conference. The TEMPO Outstanding Paper Prize will allow us to reward excellence and encourage promising scholars of Modern philosophy.

Chosen by a jury of the board at the end of the conference, we will award a $100 prize immediately to the presenter of the chosen paper. In addition, the prize comes with travel grant of up to $400 to fund a new paper presentation at TEMPO the following year, should the recipient choose to accept.
